Son Arrested After Father Stabbed to Death in Rehovot
An unusual homicide in Rehovot left an 84-year-old man dead after, police say, his 44-year-old son allegedly stabbed him in the family apartment. According to the report, the suspect is believed to have a psychiatric background.
After the stabbing, the son himself called Magen David Adom and told the dispatcher, “I killed him.” Emergency responders and officers from the Rehovot police station were sent to the scene.
Police arrested the suspect at the apartment and seized the knife they believe was used in the killing. The investigation is continuing.
