Police Commissioner Escorts Fallen Officer's Daughter on First Day of School

Police Commissioner Danny Levi accompanied Liv, the daughter of the late Superintendent Vadim Blich, to her first day of first grade at the Tzahak Navon school in Kiryat Motzkin on Monday. Liv was accompanied by her mother, Ortal, and her sister Maya, who is entering fifth grade at the same school. Superintendent Blich, a commander in the TIPAT unit, was killed at age 39 during combat in Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7th. He is survived by his mother, wife, and three children.

Marechal Levi was joined by other police officials, including Coastal District Commander Superintendent Yechiel Bohdana, and representatives from TIPAT, the Human Resources Development and Preservation Division, and welfare officers. The Commissioner wished Liv and all Israeli students a successful, safe, and achievement-filled school year, emphasizing the importance of educators' mission. He also stated that violence has no place in schools and that the Israel Police will work throughout the school year to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
