Police Commissioner Escorts Fallen Officer's Daughter to First Grade

Police Commissioner Danny Levi on Tuesday accompanied Liv Belich, the daughter of fallen officer Lt. Col. Vadim Belich, on her first day of first grade at the Yitzhak Navon School in Kiryat Motzkin. Liv was accompanied by her mother, Ortal, and her sister Maya, who is entering fifth grade at the same school.

Lt. Col. Vadim Belich, 39, was killed in combat in Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7. He is survived by his mother, wife, and three children.

The Police Commissioner was joined by Coastal District Commander Superintendent Yechiel Bohdana, representatives from the Operations Directorate, the Human Resources Development and Preservation Division, and welfare officials from the Police's Human Resources Department.

Commissioner Levi wished Liv and all Israeli students a successful, safe, and achievement-filled school year. He emphasized the importance of education and stated that Israel Police would work throughout the school year to ensure the safety and well-being of students and educational staff, adding that there is no place for violence in and around schools.
