Beitar Jerusalem Sets Condition for Ori Dahan's Transfer to Bnei Sakhnin

Beitar Jerusalem has agreed to transfer defender Ori Dahan to Bnei Sakhnin, but has imposed a condition that he cannot play against his former team in their upcoming match on Monday. Dahan, 26, arrived at Sakhnin's training session on Friday but was asked not to participate. Bnei Sakhnin is reportedly disappointed by Beitar's demand but is likely to agree.

Dahan is set to leave Beitar Jerusalem after four years, having joined initially on loan from Maccabi Haifa in the summer of 2022. He made 97 league appearances for Beitar, scoring three goals and providing one assist. His move to Sakhnin aims to bolster their defense, particularly after the season-ending injury to their defender Dimitri Kabbara.

Dahan's transfer comes as Beitar Jerusalem continues to trim its squad. He had signed permanently with Beitar in the summer of 2024 after two previous loan spells. The defender is expected to strengthen Bnei Sakhnin's backline under coach Yossi Abukasis.
