Beitar Jerusalem Defender Uri Dahan Moves to Bnei Sakhnin

Uri Dahan, a defender for Beitar Jerusalem for the past three seasons, has finalized terms with Bnei Sakhnin and will reunite with coach Yossi Abukasis. Dahan, who struggled for playing time last season and at the start of the current one, will now play under Abukasis, who knows him well from their time together at Beitar.

Dahan departs Beitar Jerusalem after making 82 appearances and winning the State Cup and Toto Cup with the club. His move comes as Beitar Jerusalem's talks with Independiente Medellin for Colombian midfielder Alexis Serna have reportedly stalled. Beitar's two offers for Serna were rejected, and the club will now seek other defensive midfield options. This situation has led to fan discontent, especially as rival teams strengthen their rosters while Beitar has yet to sign significant foreign players.

In another player move, midfielder Nadav Markovich has been loaned to Ironi Kiryat Shmona to gain more playing experience in the Premier League. Markovich was previously loaned to Hapoel Ramat Gan last season, contributing to their promotion. This loan follows a model implemented by Beitar's coaching staff to provide young players with valuable game time and confidence, similar to Liel Azulai's loan to Kiryat Shmona last year.
