Beitar Jerusalem Defender Uri Dahan Moves to Bnei Sakhnin
Beitar Jerusalem has confirmed that defender Uri Dahan will transfer to Bnei Sakhnin, ending his four-year tenure with the Jerusalem club. The 26-year-old player, who had limited playing time in recent years, will join the squad managed by Yossi Abuksis.
Dahan's move comes after he joined Beitar Jerusalem in the summer of 2022 on loan from Maccabi Haifa, where he had signed the previous year. He spent two seasons on loan before signing permanently with Beitar in the summer of 2024. During his time with Beitar, Dahan made 97 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
He is expected to bolster Sakhnin's defense, which has been weakened by the season-ending injury to their own defender, Dimitri Kabasele. Dahan could potentially make his debut against his former club, Beitar Jerusalem, in an upcoming match at the Doha Stadium next Monday.
