Car Crashes Through Store Window in Kiryat Gat After Truck Collision

A private Kia Picanto vehicle crashed into a clothing store's storefront in Kiryat Gat on Tuesday afternoon, after being struck by a truck. The unusual accident resulted in injuries to the truck driver, whose condition was described as moderate, and two women inside the store, who sustained minor injuries. The incident occurred at a store on HaDrom Street in the city.

Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report of the accident at 12:45 PM. MDA teams treated the injured and transported them to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.

Senior MDA paramedic Meir Avivi and MDA paramedic Stav Botbol described the scene as unusual, with the car "literally inside the store" amidst shattered glass and display doors. They noted that miraculously, only two women were inside the store and suffered light injuries. "This incident could have ended in tragedy," they stated.
