Car Crashes Into Store in Kiryat Gat, Injuring Two

A private vehicle collided with a store in Kiryat Gat on Tuesday after being struck by a truck, shattering the store's doors and windows and coming to rest inside. Two women who were in the business sustained minor injuries and were evacuated to Barzilai Hospital. The truck driver was evacuated in moderate condition.

The incident occurred around 12:45 PM on Derech HaDarom in Kiryat Gat. MDA emergency services, responding to the scene, found the car inside the store. Medical personnel treated the two women at the scene before transporting them to the hospital. Senior MDA medic Meir Avivi described the accident as unusual, noting that "this could have ended in tragedy" given the circumstances.
