Car Crashes Into Clothing Store After Truck Collision in Kiryat Gat

A frightening incident in Kiryat Gat concluded without serious casualties after a car, following a collision with a truck, veered off the road and crashed into a clothing store. The vehicle shattered the storefront window and came to rest inside the shop, near the area where customers were present.

Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) treated and evacuated two women from the store who sustained minor injuries. They were transported to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. The truck driver involved in the initial collision was evacuated in moderate condition.

MDA senior medic Meir Avivi and MDA medic Stav Botbol described the event as unusual, noting the car was "literally inside the store with shattered doors and display windows." They stated that a search of the store revealed only two lightly injured women, calling the outcome a "miracle" and adding that the incident "could have ended in tragedy."
