A man who climbed to the roof of a residential building in Tel Aviv and threatened to jump was persuaded to come down after police contacted renowned Israeli singer Yehuda Poliker. The unusual incident occurred late last week on Remez Street in Tel Aviv, where the man ascended the building and indicated his intention to commit suicide. Police officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station arrived at the scene, secured the area, and began negotiation attempts. During the talks, the man explicitly stated that the only person who could prevent him from jumping was Yehuda Poliker. "The only person who will make me not jump is Yehuda Poliker," he told the officers, according to Channel 12 News.
