IDF Launches Operations in Northern West Bank After Stabbing Attacks

Following two stabbing attacks in the northern West Bank, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initiated security operations in the villages of Tubas and Beit Furiq. On Thursday morning, two terrorists stabbed an Israeli civilian near the settlement of Itamar in the Samaria region, where a fire was also set. Later that day, another attacker stabbed an IDF soldier in the Menashe area, causing light injuries. Both the civilian and the soldier were evacuated to hospitals for treatment, and the soldier's family was informed. All three assailants were killed during the incidents.

The IDF established a command center at Havat Avraham and conducted raids in Beit Furiq, entering the home of one of the attackers from the Samaria area. Several buildings were searched, and multiple suspects were interrogated. In Tubas, the forces targeted the residence of the terrorist responsible for the attack in the Menashe area. The IDF continues to operate in these villages to prevent further terror attacks.

The military emphasized its commitment to proactive and offensive counterterrorism measures, alongside enforcement actions aimed at enhancing security and protection for residents throughout Judea and Samaria.
