משטרת ישראל עצרה תושב גוש חלב בן 65, עובד במועצה מקומית בצפון, בחשד שהתקין מכשיר האזנה בלשכת ראש הרשות. החקירה החלה בעקבות תלונה שהוגשה על ידי הרשות המקומית, ובמסגרתה איתרו חוקרי הונאות של מחוז צפון ממצאים שחיזקו את החשדות נגד העובד. ברשותו של החשוד נמצאו ראיות הקושרות אותו למעשה. המשטרה צפויה לבקש הבוקר להאריך את מעצרו בבית משפט השלום בטבריה.
