גיל הלל, בן 44, תושב קיבוץ יזרעאל ואב לשלושה, טבע למוות במהלך חופשה משפחתית בסלובניה. נסיבות הטביעה נבדקות על ידי הרשויות במדינה.

משרד החוץ עודכן במקרה, והמחלקה לישראלים בחו"ל בשיתוף נציגות ישראל באזור מסייעים למשפחתו של הלל בסידורי העברת גופתו לישראל לקבורה.

בקיבוץ יזרעאל הודיעו על מותו של הלל, שגדל במכמורת והגיע לקיבוץ בעקבות נישואיו לבת המקום. חברי הקיבוץ הביעו זעזוע וכאב ואימצו את המשפחה.
