Israeli Father Drowns During Family Vacation in Cyprus
A 35-year-old Israeli man from Jerusalem tragically drowned on Wednesday while vacationing with his wife and four children in Limassol, Cyprus. The man entered the sea with his family but suddenly disappeared for several hours. His family and local police searched for him, eventually recovering his body from the water.
ZAKA's international division is currently working to repatriate the man's body to Israel for burial. Baruch Nidam, head of ZAKA's international division, stated that upon receiving the report, their teams immediately began coordinating with local authorities to handle the situation respectfully and expedite the transfer. ZAKA is collaborating with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant parties to ensure the deceased is returned to Israel as soon as possible.
