Northern Israel Man Charged with Assaulting and Throwing 7-Year-Old Nephew into Trash Bin

A 43-year-old man from northern Israel has been charged with assaulting his seven-year-old nephew during a family dispute in a northern village. According to the indictment, the man kicked the child while he was lying on the ground and then threw him into a trash bin. The incident occurred about two weeks ago, on the morning of August 11, after which the child required medical treatment for multiple injuries across his body.

Police from the northern district arrived at the scene following a report and arrested the suspect. Investigations revealed that the child lived in the same home as his mother and uncle, and the attack took place amid a family argument. The prosecution has requested that the suspect remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings, charging him with assault causing serious injury to a minor under his care.

The Nazareth District Court has imposed a gag order preventing the publication of any identifying details about the child or the accused, due to the close family relationship and concerns over the child's privacy. The case is ongoing as the legal process continues.
