Man Assaults 7-Year-Old Nephew and Throws Him into Garbage Bin in Northern Israel Village
A severe assault took place about two weeks ago in a northern Israeli village, where a 43-year-old man brutally attacked his 7-year-old nephew. The incident occurred on August 11 in the morning following a family argument. According to police investigation, the uncle took the child to the yard, kicked him repeatedly while he was lying on the ground, and then threw the injured boy into a garbage bin. The child sustained multiple injuries and was taken for medical treatment. The minor lives with his mother and uncle. Israeli police arrived promptly after receiving a report and arrested the uncle immediately. The uncle's detention has been extended multiple times as investigators continue gathering evidence. The Northern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against the uncle at the Nazareth-North District Court, charging him with assault causing serious injury to a minor under his care, a particularly grave offense given the perpetrator's responsibility for the child. The prosecution also requested the uncle remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
