Shuli Rand and Michal Officially Finalize Divorce After Lengthy Public Dispute

Israeli singer and songwriter Shuli Rand announced on his Instagram account the official completion of his divorce from his first wife, Michal. The couple, who were married for several decades and have seven children together, ended a long and complex chapter in their lives. Rand wrote, "With God's grace and at a good hour, after ups and downs, I gave the get (Jewish divorce), and Michal accepted it with respect and goodwill." The announcement marks the formal conclusion of a protracted legal and public battle involving mutual accusations and serious claims.

The dispute gained significant public attention after Rand remarried in 2021 to media personality Tzofit Grant, following a rabbinical permit obtained while his divorce from Michal was not yet finalized. The ongoing conflict included Michal's claims that Rand failed to maintain consistent contact with some of their children and did not provide sufficient financial support, including for medical expenses. She also demanded the formal completion of the divorce and financial compensation related to their shared business during their marriage.

Recently, the couple appeared together at the rabbinical court to complete the divorce process officially, symbolizing the end of their prolonged conflict. Tzofit Grant has also addressed the criticism she and Rand faced during the dispute, revealing in an interview the difficult period she endured, including a serious health crisis and family trauma over the past three years.
