After a decade of separation and a prolonged bitter dispute marked by refusal to grant a religious divorce (get) and public accusations, Israeli singer Shuli Rand and his ex-wife Michal Rand have officially divorced. The conflict escalated after Shuli began a relationship with Grant while still legally married to Michal. In November 2021, Shuli and Grant married under a rare special permit from the rabbinical court, allowing Shuli to marry a second woman despite Michal's refusal to grant a get.
