Beitar Jerusalem Awaits Alexis Serna's Decision as Player Loan Possible

Beitar Jerusalem is preparing for its first Premier League match of the season against Maccabi Netanya on Saturday, after their opening game against Hapoel Tel Aviv was postponed due to the latter's European competition commitments. The club is actively working on strengthening its squad and is currently awaiting a response from Colombian midfielder Alexis Serna, who plays for Independiente Medellín, regarding an offer from Beitar. If Serna signs with Beitar Jerusalem, it is expected that 22-year-old midfielder Nedav Markovic will be loaned out. Markovic, who is under contract until 2028, has previously been loaned to Hapoel Kfar Saba and Hapoel Ramat Gan, with whom he achieved promotion to the Premier League. This season, Markovic has made one appearance, playing nine minutes against AEK Larnaca in the Conference League qualifiers.
