Israeli Air Force Strikes Hamas Weapons Depot in Northern Gaza Amid Ongoing Kite Terror

The Israeli Air Force, under the Southern Command, recently targeted a Hamas weapons depot located in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza Strip. Prior to the strike, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued evacuation warnings to civilians in the area due to the proximity of the target to humanitarian organization compounds.

Alongside the airstrike, the threat from incendiary kites launched from Gaza into Israeli border communities continues to cause significant concern. Residents near Nahal Oz have reported kites crossing the border carrying long barbed wires, raising fears of damage to strategic infrastructure or attempts to lay traps.

In response to the ongoing kite and drone attacks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the IDF to intensify targeted killings if the launches do not cease. Defense Minister Israel Katz has also ordered immediate and forceful action against the operators and launch sites of these airborne threats. The political and security leadership has issued stern warnings to Hamas, emphasizing a firm stance against continued provocations along the Gaza border.
