YouTube Raises Subscription Prices in Israel by Up to 25%

Google has increased the subscription prices for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music services in Israel, marking the first price hike since their launch in the country several years ago. The individual YouTube Premium subscription will rise from 23.90 to 29.90 shekels per month, an increase of about 25%. Family plans will also become more expensive, going from 45.90 to 54.90 shekels monthly, while student subscriptions will increase from 15.90 to 18.90 shekels. YouTube Music subscriptions are affected as well, with the individual plan price rising from 19.90 to 23.90 shekels per month.

According to Google, the new prices are already in effect for new subscribers, while existing subscribers will be charged the updated rates starting from their next billing cycle, following prior notification. Google explained that the price increase aims to support ongoing service development, assist content creators and artists, and enhance the user experience for subscribers.
