YouTube Raises Premium Subscription Price in Israel by 25% Starting October 2026
YouTube announced a price increase for its Premium subscription service in Israel, raising the monthly fee from 23.90 to 29.90 shekels, effective from October 15, 2026. This 6-shekel hike represents about a 25% increase. The company explained in an email to Israeli subscribers that the price adjustment is intended to maintain high-quality service and support content creators and artists on the platform.
The Premium subscription continues to offer benefits such as ad-free video viewing, offline downloads, background play, and ad-free access to YouTube Music. This price rise in Israel follows a similar increase in the United States in April, where the monthly personal subscription fee went from $13.99 to $15.99, alongside hikes in other plans.
For Israeli subscribers, the annual cost will increase by 72 shekels, from 286.80 to 358.80 shekels. Users who do not wish to pay the new price can cancel their subscription through their account settings before the next billing cycle.
