YouTube Raises Premium Subscription Price in Israel by 25% Starting October

YouTube is increasing the monthly price of its Premium subscription in Israel from 23.90 to 29.90 shekels, a 25% rise effective from charges starting October 15. The company notified subscribers via email, explaining that the price hike will help maintain high-quality service and continue supporting creators and artists on the platform. Despite the increase, all current Premium benefits will remain, including ad-free videos, offline viewing, background play, and access to YouTube Music without ads.

This price adjustment in Israel follows a similar update in the United States in April, where the individual subscription fee rose from $13.99 to $15.99 per month, along with increases in other plans. For Israeli subscribers maintaining their Premium membership for a full year, the annual cost will rise by 72 shekels, from 286.80 to 358.80 shekels. Users who do not wish to continue after the price increase can cancel their subscription through their account settings before the next billing date.
