Yosef Hadad Steps Down as CEO of Arab-Israeli NGO Amid Talks to Join Ofer Winter's Party

Yosef Hadad announced on Sunday that he is stepping down as CEO of the Arab-Israeli NGO "Together Arabs for Each Other," which he co-founded over eight years ago. Hadad stated on Instagram that he leaves the role "with a heavy but whole heart" as he prepares for new goals. He founded the organization to promote Israeli-Arab partnership and pride in being part of Israel, criticizing existing representatives for deepening divisions by focusing only on Gaza, Jenin, and Ramallah.

Hadad emphasized that his NGO sought to amplify an Arab voice proud of both Arab identity and Israeli citizenship, breaking down prejudices and bridging gaps. He described their work as strengthening Israeli partnership from within and defending the state as Arab citizens from outside.

The announcement comes amid ongoing talks about Hadad potentially joining the political party led by Ofer Winter. Winter is reportedly aiming for the position of Defense Minister, with his platform focusing on security issues and reforming policies related to ultra-Orthodox military service. Winter's party is being shaped as a non-sectarian, Israeli right-wing list including men and women, religious and secular, from diverse backgrounds and outside traditional politics.
