Artyom Dolgopyat Wins Third European Championship Gold in Floor Exercise
Israeli gymnast Artyom Dolgopyat secured his third European Championship gold medal in the floor exercise at the competition held in Zagreb, Croatia. He achieved a score of 14.466 points in the final on Friday, adding to his previous European titles won in 2020 and 2022. Representing Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dolgopyat's victory further cements his status as one of Israel's top gymnasts.
Dolgopyat is also the reigning Olympic champion from Tokyo 2020 and the silver medalist from Paris 2024. His European Championship record includes four silver medals in the floor exercise from 2018, 2019, 2023, and 2024. On the world stage, he won the World Championship in floor exercise in 2023 and earned two silver medals in 2017 and 2019.
