Heat stress will intensify, reaching heavy to extreme levels across most parts of the country.

The forecast for the coming days indicates a gradual easing of the heatwave. On Saturday, August 22, temperatures will slightly drop, especially in the mountains and inland, bringing some relief from the heat stress, though it will remain heavy to extreme in most areas. Sunday, August 23, will see a further temperature decrease, returning to seasonally normal levels in the mountains and inland, with additional easing of heat stress.

However, on Monday, August 24, temperatures will rise again slightly, particularly in the mountains and inland, remaining somewhat above seasonal averages. Specific temperature ranges include Tel Aviv and Haifa at 26° to 31°C, Jerusalem at 22° to 34°C, Ashdod at 26° to 31°C, Beersheba at 24° to 35°C, Ashkelon at 27° to 31°C, Mitzpe Ramon at 21° to 32°C, and Afula at 24° to 37°C.
