Extreme Heat Intensifies Across Most of Israel with Record High Temperatures
The heatwave in Israel is intensifying, with the Meteorological Service forecasting a slight temperature rise today, Friday, across most regions. Temperatures are expected to remain significantly above seasonal averages. After morning cloud dispersal, the weather will be clear and sunny. The mountainous and inland areas will experience hotter and drier conditions than usual, while the coastal plain will remain milder.
Heat stress is expected to worsen, reaching heavy to extreme levels in most parts of the country. Due to these conditions, the Meteorological Service has issued heat warnings for several areas and anticipates further intensification throughout the day.
Forecasted temperatures for today and tonight include Jerusalem at 19-32°C, Tel Aviv 23-31°C, Haifa 24-31°C, Safed 18-34°C, Tiberias 22-38°C, Beit She'an 24-39°C, Ashdod 24-31°C, Beersheba 22-34°C, Mitzpe Ramon 21-34°C, and Eilat reaching up to 40°C.
