Israel Faces Above-Average Heat This Weekend Before Temperatures Normalize

Israel is expected to experience warmer than usual weather over the upcoming weekend, with temperatures rising above seasonal averages. On Friday, temperatures will increase slightly, bringing hotter conditions especially in inland areas and mountainous regions, while the coastal plain will remain cooler. Saturday will see partly cloudy to clear skies with a slight temperature drop mainly inland and in the mountains, while the coastal plain stays cool. On Sunday, temperatures and heat levels will decrease further, particularly in the mountains and inland, returning closer to seasonal averages. The Meteorological Service issued an unusual update noting a "136-year record" related to the heat. By Monday, conditions will be partly cloudy to clear with temperatures and heat levels normal for the season. Tuesday will bring a slight temperature rise again, with warmer conditions inland and in the mountains, and cooler weather along the coast.
