Home Front Command lifts mass gathering limit nationwide
After a situation assessment, the Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command announced a change in its defensive guidelines effective Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and lasting until Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
The main change is the removal of the nationwide restriction that had limited public gatherings to up to 5,000 people across all areas of the country.
In the border-adjacent “confrontation line” zone, activity will remain partial and the instructions there are unchanged. The Home Front Command said it continues to hold ongoing situation assessments.
If there are further changes, the public will be updated through the official platforms of the Home Front Command and the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.
