Multiple Violent Incidents Erupt in Eilat Hotels and Holon Water Park Over Smoking and Chairs

Within a day of a large brawl at the Yamit 2000 water park in Holon, another violent incident occurred at the same popular venue on Sunday, involving two women exchanging blows and insults. Meanwhile, in Eilat, a 29-year-old Jerusalem resident, Rubin Gaber, was arrested after assaulting a hotel manager who asked him not to smoke near the pool. Gaber verbally abused the manager and threatened him, later telling police he intended to "kill the whole hotel." His detention was extended by three days.

In a separate case at the G Hotel in Eilat, police arrested four suspects from Ashkelon following a fight that left a young man hospitalized with broken front teeth. The altercation reportedly began over a dispute about a plastic chair. The suspects’ detention was also extended by three days.

Additionally, three suspects from Beersheba and the Ahisamach settlement were arrested after a confrontation at the King Solomon Hotel in Eilat. The suspects allegedly threatened guests, mocked a woman, and physically attacked her husband near the pool. They were taken into custody for questioning.

Earlier, two security guards were lightly injured in a previous fight at Yamit 2000, where 12 suspects were arrested amid scenes of chairs being thrown near the pools. In response to the violence, Holon Mayor Shai Kinan announced a ban on non-residents entering the water park on weekends and holidays to prevent further disturbances.
