Massive Brawl at Yamit 2000 Water Park in Holon Injures Guards, Leads to Closure
A large-scale violent altercation erupted on Saturday afternoon at the Yamit 2000 water park in Holon. The incident began around 3:00 PM after staff requested visitors to lower their music volume, which quickly escalated into a chaotic fight involving the throwing of chairs and other objects. Two security guards sustained minor injuries and were treated for their wounds.
Police from the Holon station and the Tel Aviv district arrived promptly to regain control of the situation. They arrested 12 suspects, all residents of southern Israel, who were involved in the melee. Following the event, the entire water park was closed to visitors. The arrested individuals were taken for questioning at the Holon police station. Authorities indicated that the cause of the disturbance was criminal in nature.
Video footage shared online by Daniel Amram captured the crowd at the pool as the violence spiraled out of control. The police intervention successfully restored order, but the severity of the incident prompted the park's closure for safety reasons.
