Yossi Dagan's 'My Likud' Group Releases Recommended Candidates for Party Primaries

On the eve of the Likud party primaries, "My Likud," the largest settlement faction within the party led by Yossi Dagan, head of the Shomron Regional Council, along with Yoni HaIsrali and Yaakov Weinberger, published its recommended candidate list for its 8,000 members. The announcement came on Sunday, one day before the internal party elections.

The group, considered a significant force promoting settlement goals within the ruling party, highlighted its past achievements, including blocking dangerous initiatives, advancing road infrastructure in the West Bank, breaking political stalemates, establishing new settlements, and canceling the disengagement law. Dagan emphasized the importance of electing a strong, ideological team that will fight for settlement expansion and sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.

The selection of recommended candidates was based on three criteria: loyalty to the Land of Israel during crises, joint participation in key struggles, and active practical work on the ground. The group divided endorsements into two levels: those with "highest support," including Amir Ohana, Zeev Elkin, Boaz Bismuth, Amit Halevi, Miki (Mikhlouf) Zohar, Yariv Levin, Idit Silman, Eti-Hava Attia, Yoav Kish, Ariel Kallner, Miri Regev, Keti (Katrin) Shitrit, and Amichai Shikli; and those with "significant support," including Eli Cohen, Gila Gamliel, Hanoch Milwetsky, and Shlomo Karhi.

To ensure strategic vote distribution, "My Likud" implemented a unique voting mechanism, providing each member with a personalized list of exactly 12 candidates to vote for, rather than a single fixed list. The group urged members to vote strictly according to their personalized lists to maximize their influence.
