Ten-Year-Old Killed in Car-Bus Crash Near Shavei Shomron
A roughly 10-year-old boy was killed on Sunday evening in a traffic collision between a car and a bus near Shavei Shomron. Magen David Adom medics who arrived at the scene found the child unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and with severe multiple-system injuries, and pronounced him dead there.
The crash also left a woman in her 40s injured. MDA medics treated her for head and back injuries and described her condition as moderate before evacuating her to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
Four additional Palestinian casualties were taken from the scene by the Red Crescent. MDA senior medic Shnir Hala and medic Shmuel Agasi said it was a “serious traffic accident between a car and a bus,” and that other MDA teams assisted at the scene and transferred the driver to hospital.
