9-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured by Minibus in Rosh HaAyin, Hospitalized Under CPR
A 9-year-old girl was critically injured on Monday after being struck by a minibus on Rabbi Shalom Shabazi Street in Rosh HaAyin. Paramedics and medics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene to find the girl unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and suffering from multiple severe injuries. They immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions and artificial respiration, and transported her to Beilinson Hospital while continuing CPR. Senior MDA medic Alon Havani described the situation: "The girl was unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing after being hit by the minibus. We started advanced resuscitation and evacuated her in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital in critical condition."
This incident adds to a recent series of fatal road accidents in Israel. Just two weeks prior, a 13-year-old boy died in a collision between a car and a bus near Shavei Shomron. Paramedics found the boy unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing, with severe multiple injuries, and declared him dead at the scene. Senior MDA medics Shnir Khalah and Shmuel Agassi reported, "It was a severe traffic accident involving a car and a bus. We found the 13-year-old boy unconscious, without pulse or breathing, suffering from severe injuries. Unfortunately, we had to confirm his death on site."
