Two Bat Yam Residents Indicted for Throwing Grenade at Japnika Restaurant in Kiryat Ono
The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against 22-year-old Netanel Avodi and 18-year-old Nehorai Chabaz, both residents of Bat Yam, for throwing a grenade at the Japnika restaurant in Kiryat Ono about a month ago. According to the indictment, the two men arrived at the restaurant late at night when one employee was inside and two others were nearby. They repeatedly threw the grenade at the restaurant until it exploded, then fled the scene immediately afterward. The indictment accuses them of aggravated assault, damage using an explosive device, and carrying and transporting weapons. Additionally, Avodi faces charges of obstructing justice.
