Israel Faces Continued Heatwave With Relief Expected Friday

Israel is experiencing a heatwave with temperatures remaining above average across most regions. On Tuesday, the weather will be mostly clear, hot, and dry in the mountains and inland areas, while the coastal plain will be cooler. Heavy to extreme heat burdens will persist in most parts of the country. Nighttime conditions will be clear to partly cloudy.

Wednesday will see a slight temperature drop, mainly in the mountains and inland, but it will still be hotter than usual and dry there, with the coastal plain remaining mild. The heavy to extreme heat conditions will continue across much of Israel. This pattern is expected to last through Thursday.

A more significant change is forecast for Friday, when temperatures will decrease further to seasonal norms. Heat stress will ease, and northern and central Israel may experience light, localized rain showers. Temperature ranges for Tuesday and Wednesday include Jerusalem at 24-33°C, Tel Aviv 24-34°C, Haifa 26-33°C, and Beersheba 23-37°C, with the hottest spots like Ein Gedi and Beit She'an reaching up to 41°C.
