Sun d'Or Launches Winter Flight Schedule Including New Direct Service to Verona

Sun d'Or, part of the El Al Group, has unveiled its winter flight schedule starting October 2026, featuring 12 destinations including a new direct route to Verona, Italy. The airline will operate two weekly flights to Verona on Sundays and Thursdays, with introductory round-trip fares starting at $299 for the LITE ticket class, which includes a trolley bag and hand luggage. The first flight to Verona is scheduled for October 25, 2026. Verona, located in northern Italy near ski resorts and Lake Garda, is renowned for its romantic association with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and offers a rich blend of culture, history, and cuisine.

In addition to Verona, Sun d'Or will serve winter destinations such as Larnaca and Paphos in Cyprus; Batumi and Tbilisi in Georgia; Tirana in Albania; Chisinau in Moldova; Belgrade in Serbia; Krakow and Warsaw in Poland; Salzburg in Austria; and Lyon in France. Tickets are available through El Al's website and travel agents. Frequent flyer members can earn and redeem points on Sun d'Or flights according to El Al's policies.

Sun d'Or CEO Gal Gershon highlighted the addition of Verona as a new destination that offers Israeli travelers convenient access to popular ski resorts at affordable prices and short flight times. The winter schedule aims to provide a variety of options for short international vacations featuring scenic landscapes, cultural experiences, culinary delights, Christmas markets, nightlife, and nearby ski facilities.
