Sun d'Or Launches Winter Flight Schedule Including New Direct Service to Verona

Sun d'Or, part of the El Al Group, has unveiled its winter flight schedule starting October 2026, featuring 12 destinations and introducing direct flights to Verona, Italy for the first time. The airline will operate two weekly flights to Verona on Sundays and Thursdays, with launch fares starting at $299 round-trip for the LITE ticket class, which includes a trolley bag and hand luggage. The inaugural flight is scheduled for October 25, 2026.

Verona, located in northern Italy near ski resorts and Lake Garda, is renowned for its romantic association with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The city offers a blend of culture, history, cuisine, and a charming atmosphere. Alongside Verona, Sun d'Or will serve other winter destinations including Larnaca and Paphos in Cyprus; Batumi and Tbilisi in Georgia; Tirana in Albania; Chisinau in Moldova; Belgrade in Serbia; Krakow and Warsaw in Poland; Salzburg in Austria; and Lyon in France.

Tickets are available through El Al's website and travel agents. Members of El Al's frequent flyer program can earn and redeem points and diamonds on Sun d'Or flights according to El Al's policies. Gal Gershon, CEO of Sun d'Or, highlighted the addition of Verona as a new destination offering Israelis convenient access to popular ski locations at affordable prices and short flight times. He emphasized the variety of winter vacation options available, including skiing, cultural experiences, culinary delights, Christmas markets, nightlife, and scenic tours.
