Central Command Chief Orders Tal Dradik Banned From West Bank Except Modiin Illit

The Central Command chief has decided to ban Tal Dradik from entering the West Bank, following a district court ruling that upheld security officials' concerns about the significant danger he poses. The court deemed the original restriction order justified, proportional, and reasonable but canceled a specific condition requiring Dradik to stay at his mother-in-law's home, allowing for revision of the order's terms due to the security risks involved.

Consequently, the Central Command updated the restriction to exclude Dradik from the entire Judea and Samaria area, except for the city of Modiin Illit, where he must report to the local police station twice daily. The expiration date of the order remains unchanged. Dradik was also informed that if he agrees to wear electronic monitoring, his conditions might be eased.

In a related development, the district court rejected an appeal by the Central Command chief concerning Dradik's case, marking a setback for the military official.
