Three Teens Charged in Violent Sexual Assault of Minors in Beersheba Park

Three teenagers have been indicted in the Beersheba Juvenile District Court for violently sexually assaulting two minors in a public park. According to the indictment, the two victims were returning from an outing late at night when they passed by a bench where the three accused were drinking alcohol. One of the accused, armed with a kitchen knife, called the minors over and forced them to undress. The suspects then sexually assaulted the victims using threats and violence, including ordering them to perform sexual acts on each other. One assailant repeatedly pressed a knife to a victim who resisted.

The attackers also beat the minors, confiscated their mobile phones, and deleted tracking apps to prevent location detection. They recorded parts of the assault on their phones and mocked the victims. The abuse ended only after one victim’s mother called him, having noticed his delay returning home. Following the call, the suspects returned the victims’ clothes and phones but threatened harm to their families if they reported the incident. The victims fled home terrified and informed their families, who filed a police complaint.

Investigations led to the arrest of the three suspects, one of whom was already under house arrest for previous offenses. The prosecution requested to extend the house arrest of the other two suspects. Defense attorney Farajoun described the main suspect as exploiting the victims’ fear to humiliate and degrade them, highlighting the severity of his distorted mindset. The case remains under judicial review as authorities continue to pursue justice for the victims.
