IDF Uncovers Extensive Hezbollah Military Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon Villages

In recent months, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Northern Command has been actively operating in southern Lebanon to counter Hezbollah threats against Israel. During these operations, the IDF discovered thousands of Hezbollah facilities embedded within civilian villages in the region. These included command centers, resting posts, launch positions, observation posts, underground infrastructure, and numerous weapons.

Hezbollah has systematically established its military presence over the years within the civilian population of southern Lebanon, embedding its terror infrastructure in villages. This strategy has turned the area into a significant operational zone for Hezbollah while cynically endangering Lebanese civilians by using them as cover.

The IDF's findings highlight the extensive militarization of civilian areas by Hezbollah, underscoring the ongoing security challenges Israel faces from the group operating just across its northern border.
