IDF Destroys Hezbollah Terror Tunnel in Southern Lebanon Amid Ceasefire
During the ceasefire period, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued operations to neutralize threats to Israeli civilians along the southern Lebanon security zone. In a targeted mission near Sarbin, forces from Brigade 300 and the Yahalom unit destroyed an underground tunnel spanning several dozen meters. According to the IDF spokesperson, the tunnel was used by Hezbollah to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israeli forces.
In parallel operations over recent days, Kfir Brigade forces located a Hezbollah weapons cache in southern Lebanon containing launchers and rockets. Additionally, Brigade 4 uncovered dozens of various weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank rockets, and other combat equipment. These efforts are part of ongoing measures by the IDF’s 91st Division to remove threats posed by Hezbollah in the area.
