Two Arrested Over Suspected Gang Rape of Minor at Northern Israel Party

Israeli police are investigating a suspected gang rape of a minor at a party held last weekend in a northern Israeli city. According to the investigation, the young girl was allegedly given a drink containing a sedative substance. Afterward, several youths reportedly took advantage of her being alone to sexually assault her. The victim was taken to a hospital the same night and filed an official complaint with the police on Monday.

Following the complaint, two suspects were arrested, including one adult and one minor. Authorities are examining whether additional youths were involved. The victim identified the suspects by name and provided detailed descriptions of their clothing during the incident. A source familiar with the investigation noted that the sedative did not fully incapacitate the victim, enabling her to give significant information to investigators.

Shortly after being picked up by friends from the party, the victim began vomiting and repeatedly stated she had been raped by the suspects. Attorney Adi Pashko Katz, representing the victim, described the case as exceptionally severe, alleging the perpetrators acted with premeditation and possibly used similar tactics in other incidents. The police confirmed the arrests and said the investigation is ongoing.
