Two Suspects Arrested Over Rape at Northern Israel Party

Israeli police arrested two suspects on Wednesday in connection with a rape that occurred at a party in northern Israel. The investigation began following a complaint filed on Saturday night. Separately, the State Prosecutor's Office recently filed charges against Adiel Eliyahu Michael Cohen, 22, from Petah Tikva, accusing him of rape and indecent acts. According to the indictment, Cohen met a young woman during a nighttime walk with her dog and later falsely claimed to be a survivor of the Nova party incident to gain her sympathy. After she repeatedly rejected his advances, he forcibly entered her apartment and committed sexual offenses. The prosecution has also requested to extend Cohen's detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
