Two Suspects Arrested in Northern Israel Over Alleged Gang Rape of Minor at Party

Police in the Haifa district are investigating a serious case involving the alleged gang rape of a minor at a party in a northern Israeli city over the past weekend. According to the investigation, the young girl was reportedly given a drink containing a sedative substance. Several youths allegedly took advantage of a moment when she was alone to commit the assault. The incident occurred on Saturday night, and the victim was taken to the hospital that same night. She filed an official complaint with the police on Monday.

Following the complaint, two suspects were arrested, one adult and one minor, while police are examining the involvement of additional youths. The victim was able to identify the suspects by name and described their clothing during the event, as the sedative did not fully incapacitate her. A source familiar with the investigation stated that shortly after her friends picked her up from the party, the victim began vomiting and repeatedly stated she had been raped.

The victim’s attorney, Adi Pashko Katz, described the case as exceptionally severe, accusing the suspects of premeditated cruelty and suggesting this might not be their first offense using similar tactics. She emphasized the victim’s courage and vowed to ensure the perpetrators are held accountable. Police confirmed the arrests and said the investigation is ongoing.
