Two Teens Charged with Rape and Sodomy of 13-Year-Old Girl
Two minors from the Sharon region of Israel have been indicted in the Haifa District Court for Juvenile Affairs on charges of rape and sodomy against a 13-year-old girl. The victim's mother revealed details of the alleged assault in a radio interview last week. She stated that her daughter met the suspects, who are also minors, through a mutual friend just days before the incident. The mother reported having spoken with one of the suspects, who assured her they were "good kids" and that there was nothing to worry about.
According to the mother's account, the suspects lured her daughter to a building's shelter on Saturday afternoon, where they had prepared mattresses and other items. She described the assault as brutal, claiming the suspects threatened her daughter with a knife, broke chairs over her, beat her, and then took turns raping her while others restrained her. The attack reportedly ended when a passerby's arrival caused the suspects to flee barefoot.
The victim was found by the passerby, who took her home, alerted his mother, and together they called for an ambulance and police. The victim's mother expressed concern that the suspects may have victimized other girls in the past, citing a similar unconfirmed case. She praised her daughter's bravery and detailed testimony to investigators, describing her as a "heroine" for recounting every detail of the horrific events.
The indictments were filed on Wednesday, marking a significant step in the legal process following the alleged assault. The case has drawn attention due to the age of the victim and the alleged perpetrators, as well as the graphic details of the attack.
