Police Arrest Three Suspects for Alleged Rape of Three Northern Israeli Teen Girls

On Tuesday evening, police arrested a 21-year-old man and two minors on suspicion of raping three teenage girls from northern Israel. The alleged assaults occurred during a pre-arranged social gathering at an apartment in the Emek region. All three suspects were interrogated and are expected to be brought before a court on Wednesday, where police will request an extension of their detention. The suspects deny the allegations.

Separately, last week the Central District Prosecutor's Office filed a serious indictment at the Lod District Court against a man from central Israel accused of multiple severe sexual offenses against his two children. According to the indictment, which covers incidents from 2019 to 2024 while the father lived in the family home, he raped his daughter twice when she was 12 and committed other indecent acts against her. He also committed indecent acts against his 11-year-old son, including one incident following the rape of the daughter. The indictment also details a history of violence by the accused. Alongside the indictment, prosecutors requested to extend his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
