Israeli Teen Charged with Brutal Sexual Assault of Minor at School
The Central District Prosecutor's Office filed a serious indictment on Tuesday against a 17-and-a-half-year-old boy from central Israel. He is accused of multiple severe sexual and violent offenses against a 15-year-old minor. According to the indictment, the suspect repeatedly abused the victim by cursing, beating, and extorting money from him over a period of time.
The most severe incident occurred when the suspect led the victim to an isolated location within their school. There, he allegedly sexually assaulted the minor brutally and committed acts of rape, ignoring the victim's repeated pleas to stop. The indictment charges the suspect with two counts of rape of a minor under 16 without consent, along with extortion by threats, assault causing serious injury, and multiple counts of threats.
Alongside the indictment, the prosecution requested the Lod District Court to extend the suspect's detention until the conclusion of the legal proceedings. The case highlights serious concerns about violence and sexual abuse among minors in school settings.
