Serious indictments were filed against four minors who ambushed a 17-year-old boy, lured him out of his home and brutally attacked him over a personal dispute. According to the indictment, the reason for the attack was the fear of one of the defendants, a 15-year-old girl, that the boy would spread intimate photos of her.
The defendants beat the boy with punches and kicks, fled the scene and left him to writhe in his injuries. The Central District Juvenile Court today, Wednesday, allowed for publication of the serious indictments filed by the Central District Prosecutor's Office against four minors, including two girls, ages 13 to 16 from central Israel. According to the indictments, the minors brutally attacked a 17-year-old boy, over what was described as a score to settle, and left him to writhe in his injuries. 2 + Illustration, handcuffs in prison | Photo: Canva
The indictment states that one of the defendants, only 15 years old, suspected that the complainant intended to pass intimate photos and videos of her to her partner, who is also indicted in the case. She conspired with the other defendants, and together they lured the boy out of his home under false pretenses. On the street, two of the boys pounced on him, one of whom had knowledge of martial arts, and began beating him with punches and kicks to every part of his body.
The defendants continued hitting and kicking the boy even after he collapsed and bled on the ground, while the two female defendants watched what was happening and one of them documented the attack on a mobile phone. When the complainant had difficulty breathing, one of the minors demanded that he apologize, but he refused. The defendants took the boy's mobile phone and fled, leaving him seriously injured. The boy was rushed to Schneider Hospital and hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care unit with severe injuries. 2 + Illustration | Photo: Shutterstock
The prosecution asked the court to order the minors' detention until the end of the legal proceedings against them, noting that they acted with complete lack of restraint and using a method of a planned ambush. The prosecution also emphasized that this was a planned and cold attack, intended to instill fear and cause extremely serious bodily harm. The indictment attributes to the defendants offenses of aggravated assault, theft and conspiracy.
It should be noted that this is not an isolated case of violence among minors. Recently, more and more severe cases of violence among teenagers have been exposed, including the brutal murder of the teenager Yemanu Binyamin Zalka, may his memory be blessed, in Petah Tikva, after he spoke up to a group of youths who were causing a disturbance outside the pizzeria where he worked, as well as the murder of the young man Dastau Chkol, may his memory be blessed, in Beersheba, which occurred following a dispute between friends. These events have once again highlighted the growing phenomenon of violence among teenagers and its deadly consequences. 2 + Lighting candles in memory of Yemanu Binyamin Zalka, may his memory be blessed, at the murder scene | Photo: Avshalom Sassoni, Flash 90

The latest data are cause for concern: in a recent Knesset debate, the Research and Information Center presented data showing that, after years of steady decline, there was a sharp increase in the past year in the number of criminal cases opened against minors. In 2024/25, cases were opened for more than 6,200 teenage suspects, compared with about 5,400 in the previous year. It also emerged that about one-fifth of the offenses in these cases were classified as serious physical violence offenses. violence minors indictments police photos attack 7 write a response
