Indictment Sought Against 19-Year-Old Jaffa Resident Over Sexual Offenses Against Girls Aged 11 to 15

A prosecutors’ statement ahead of an indictment was filed against a 19-year-old Jaffa resident who was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against girls aged 11 to 15 through Telegram.

According to the suspicion, he contacted the victims on the social platform, demanded that they send him intimate photos and videos, and threatened to publish the images along with their personal details.

Police said the expected indictment includes charges of extortion by threats, harassment using a telecommunications device, sexual harassment, publishing obscene material depicting a minor, and an indecent act. His detention was extended until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
